What is to tak into account at the migration of CU2 to CUVC?

The MASTERDRIVES Vector Control CU2 devices (end number of the MLFB 20 / 21) have been replaced by the MASTERDRIVES Vector Control CUVC series (end number of the MLFB 60 / 61). The version / type of control for all devices with a specified power section is always defined by the basic device module (e.g. CU2 or CUVC).

If a new device is needed because a component in the power section of the existing device is defective, it is possible to fit the CU2 module from the old device into the new one. The new device then has the same functionality as the old one. A more advanced installation is not required.

If the basic device module CU2 is (also) defective in the existing device or if functions of the CUVC are required, then the CUVC device must be recommissioned. CU2 parameter sets cannot be loaded onto the CUVC.

NOTE

Please note in particular that the CU2 und CUVC have different numbers of control connections. To the Chapter 1.1 please use the data in Chapter 7.2 respectively 7.3 of the current manual. The position and execution of the dip switches have changed
